Decided to combine my roundup for February with March as I didn’t read much in the second month and it seemed a bit silly to make a small post for it…!

If you were away from the internet recently, let me fill you in. Everyone lost their minds over a semi decent short story in the New Yorker about a 20 something college girl having a questionable but short lived relationship.
Long story short, people got upset, people had opinions, and honestly, there are SO MANY better short stories out there that you can read instead of this one. Here are my recommendations of short story anthologies that you can read instead of bothering with that one. 👍👍👍

I really put the pedal to the metal this month to read as much as POSSIBLE so I could reach my yearly reading goal. I also went to Phuket in Thailand for a week with my parents, where I ATTEMPTED to read more, but ended up doing more lounging around than reading… OOPS.
WELP. I’m back home in Singapore. FOR GOOD THIS TIME. Having a lot of mixed feelings about it but trying to remain positive, and read as much as possible so I can reach my reading goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111
Spent most of this month spending time with family and friends, and moving out of my flat in London…!!! A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS…….
On the 21st of October I went to the big Kinokuniya bookstore in Takashimaya in Singapore to FINALLY meet the author JY Yang in person for their book signing!!

At the beginning of May I saw Aentee’s post about this month long event called, Asian Lit Bingo. Which is AMAZING, being from Singapore I’m always trying to find more books, especially SFF, written by Asian authors as well as books that ARE Asian in content in someway.
Instead of participating because my reading has been a bit stagnant as of late, I decided to find a book for each of the squares and make a rec list instead!! In retrospect I probably should have posted this earlier, but whatever. Better late than never. 😎
